The Digital Photography Lovers Society (DPLS or Society), a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA), is a newly formed organization with its main purpose to connect all photography lovers in the USA and around the world to share and learn from each other and also to promote the art of photography. The Society includes casual shutterbugs, serious amateurs, and professional photographers.

DPLS was founded in late 2011 and is based in Germantown, MD. Started with 7 members in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and California, Some of our members are actively participated in many national and international photo competitions and received many very prestigious recognitions and awards through some of the tough competitions. In January 2012, DPLS received the FIAP Gold Medal for the Best Club in the Salon with the Holland 8th International Exhibition
